Baked Tortilla Strips


(for Tortilla Soup)

Ingredients

  • Six 6-inch corn tortillas
  • Olive oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Brush both sides of tortillas with oil, stacking as you go. Cut stack in half, then slice crosswise into half-inch strips.
  3. Place strips on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake, tossing strips occasionally, until golden, about 15-20 minutes.
